I Hate Timesheets is a timesheet application. This privacy policy explains how we handle your personal information when you sign up for launch notifications.

What Data We Collect

When you sign up for early access, we collect:

• Email address - to notify you when we launch
• Optional message - if you choose to tell us why you're interested
• Technical data - IP address, timestamp, and browser information (automatically collected)

Why We Collect It

We collect your email to notify you when the product launches. We collect technical data to prevent abuse and understand where our users come from.

Legal basis: Your consent, which you provide by submitting the signup form.

Who We Share It With

We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) to store your data. AWS is located in the EU (Ireland region). We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.

Cookies & Local Storage

We only use storage that is strictly necessary to run the service or to remember your preferences. We do not use any tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies, so no cookie consent banner is required.

• Session cookie (app only) - a secure, HTTP-only cookie that keeps you logged in after you use your magic link. Strictly necessary for authentication.
• Theme preference - stored in your browser's local storage to remember your light/dark mode choice.
• Signup marker (landing page) - stored in your browser's local storage so we don't ask you to sign up again.
• Dismissed notices (app only) - stored in your browser's local storage to remember which one-time cards you've closed.

Our CDN provider (Cloudflare) may set strictly-necessary security cookies (such as __cf_bm) to protect the site from abuse. These are not used to track you.
